Health Canada is recalling a toilet bowl cleaner distributed by UWG Global Inc. of Brampton, Ont., because its bottles don't have child-resistant caps.
The recall involves a liquid toilet bowl cleaner packaged in a 946-millilitre white plastic bottle. The bottle has a white plastic lid and a blue label with Toilet Bowl Cleaner in red-and-white writing.
The recalled product is identified by the UPC code 056626764147 and item number A00022.
About 3,720 bottles were sold across Canada from November 2008 to July 2009.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this cleaner.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and dispose of it in regular household garbage.
