- By Peter Hadzipetros
Indian Groceries & Spices Inc. of Skokie, Ill., is recalling select packages of Nirav Golden Raisins, because they may contain sulphites not listed on the label and that could be dangerous for people with sulphite allergies.
No reactions have been reported. The recalled raisins were sold between November 2008 and July 2009 in: Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio and Tennessee. Consumers who have purchased Nirav Golden Raisins are urged to return packages to the place of purchase for a full refund.
