Health Canada is recalling Klick Klick yo-yo ball toys by Handee Products because they present a hidden risk of strangulation to children.
The balls are made of 18 stretchable plastic cords of various colours, which are capped with plastic caps. The caps come in six colours (red, pink, yellow, green, blue, purple) and each colour appears three times in the ball.
The yo-yo ball toys can be identified by item number NV908 and UPC 064049689084.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these recalled yo-yo balls.
Approximately 2, 384 of the recalled yo-yo balls were sold in Canada.
Consumers should cut the cord off of the yo-yo and dispose of both parts of the toy in regular household trash.
