Chelsea's necklace and bracelet sets recalled over choking hazard

- By Tara Kimura
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and D&D Distributing-Wholesale Inc. have announced a joint recall of 29,000 necklace and bracelet sets because they pose a possible choking hazard.
Two models of the Chelsea's necklace and bracelet set — Crayon and Shiny Heart — have yellow, blue, red, green, purple and pink crayons or hearts connected by elastic string. Each set has one necklace and one bracelet.
Small parts of the necklaces or bracelets can break free and come loose, posing a choking hazard to young children.
The products were sold throughout the United States between April 1999 and April 2009 for about $4 US.
Purchasers are advised to stop children from using the products and to contact D&D at 1-800-262-9435 for a refund.
