Undeclared sulphites in More Than a Square Meal bar
- May 19, 2009 1:05 PM
- By Peter Hadzipetros
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning people with sensitivity to sulphites not to eat More Than a Square Meal bars with raisins because they contain sulphites not declared on the label.
The Rocky Mountain Grain Products' bar with raisins is sold in a 200-g package bearing UPC 8 31537 00012 2. Only packages that do not clearly declare sulphites on the label are affected by this alert.
The bars are known to have been distributed in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario, but it is likely they were also distributed nationally.
There have been no reported illnesses.
