Health Canada warns parents about lead in kids' necklace set

- By Peter Hadzipetros
Health Canada is warning consumers about Abalone and Venetian Carnevale Necklace Craft Kits.
The toys have lobster clasps that contain excessive amounts of lead, a substance that can be toxic if eaten.
The manufacturer, Action Products International Inc., of Ocala, Fla., said 36 units were sold in Canada and 2,900 in the United States.
Consumers are urged to return the toy to Action Products for a free replacement.
