Health Canada announced the recall of Eddie Bauer-brand portable play yard sets that include a rocking bassinet and a built-in changing station.
Health Canada says the rocking bassinet can tilt, which can cause an infant inside to tip onto its side and possibly fall.
Health Canada said close to 5,600 of the "Soothe and Sway Play Yard" models sold before December 2008 are affected.
The recalled products are identified by the model numbers 05044CFRK, 05044CSNW, or 05044CWPR.
The model number can be found on a label located on the bottom of the play yard.
The play yards have been sold across Canada and the United States. Units sold in the U.S. have different model numbers.
No injuries have been reported, but the U.S. consumer protection agency has received accounts of 10 infants rolling over in the play yard.
Dorel Distribution Canada is recalling these play yards.
Consumers are advised to stop using the play yard and contact Dorel Juvenile group at 1-888-233-4903.
