The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning people with sensitivities or allergies to wheat proteins not to eat certain gluten or wheat free organic brown and white rice buns or bread.
These products, sold under the brand name Buncha Farmers/Farmer's Kitchen and Harvest Fresh Bakery contain wheat that is not declared.
The Organic White Rice and Organic Brown Rice Breads or Buns (approximately 454 - 605 g) affected by this alert were sold after Jan. 3, 2009 to April 3 from a number of Toronto-area stores.
Please see original alert for store names.
