- By Peter Hadzipetros
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning Canadians about green cardamom sold in bulk food stores in Vancouver and vicinity.
The federal regulator said this item might contain salmonella.
The bulk cardamom does not have a brand name and was sold between January and April at:
· 7 Days Seafood & Grocery, 10711 King George Highway in Surrey, B.C.
· Polo Market, 6475 Fraser St., Vancouver.
· Sabii Mandi, 106-12568 72nd Ave. Surrey, B.C.
· Daily Fresh, 6529 Fraser St., Vancouver.
The CFIA says it has received no reports of illness associated with the product.
