O’Neill sweatshirts recalled
- March 26, 2009 4:03 PM
- By Peter Hadzipetros
O’Neill has recalled about 9,700 hooded fleece sweatshirts because they pose a strangulation hazard, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said.
No injuries have been reported.
The recalled children’s sweatshirts have RN number 85773 printed in the centre back neck and were sold in sizes S-XL. The product name and style number are printed on the hangtag on the left side seam of the garment, which comes in a variety of colours.
Consumers should remove the drawstrings to eliminate the hazard, or return them to the retailer or distributor La Jolla Sport for a full refund.
Consumers can reach La Jolla Sport at (800) 213-6444 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. PT Monday through Friday.
