Jetboil outdoor stoves recalled
- March 6, 2009 2:38 PM
- By Peter Hadzipetros
Jetboil Inc. has recalled about 250 outdoor stoves because gas can leak out of a valve attached to the stove's fuel source, posing a fire hazard, Health Canada says.
Jetboil, based in Manchester, N.H., has received five reports of fires resulting from leaking fuel, with no injuries. Health Canada has not received any injury or incident reports.
The stoves, which have the product code BDL003, have a pot support and stabilizer.
In-Sport Fashions Inc. of Montreal at 1-800-465-9637 will repair or replace the stoves.
The recalled stoves were sold from July 2008 to November 2008.
