- March 17, 2009 11:31 AM
- By Peter Hadzipetros
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has added four products to the list of items recalled because they might contain peanuts contaminated with salmonella.
There have been no confirmed illnesses in Canada associated with peanut products, although nearly 700 people have become ill in the United States, where the outbreak started.
The four new products on the list are Safeway and Met-Rx brand peanut snacks.
