The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning consumers to avoid another seven products because they may contain peanuts contaminated with salmonella.
The seven have been added to the hundreds of products that consumers have been told not to eat. All contain peanut butter/paste or parts of the nuts from Peanut Corp. of America.
The products are: Amaranth Whole Foods Market (Miso Curry Nut Mix), Lynn's Vitamin Gallery (Miso Curry Nut Mix), Nutter's Foods #49 (Kamloops) (Miso Curry Nut Mix), Dillon's Gourmet (Peanut Roll), Simbree (Oat Bites with Peanuts, Almonds and Pistachios, in 170-gram and 426-gram packages), North Star (Bulk Old Fashioned Combo Cone).
There have been no confirmed illnesses in Canada from eating tainted products, but they are suspected in eight U.S. deaths, and hundreds of people have fallen ill.
