- February 4, 2009 4:47 PM
- By Tara Kimura
Health Canada is voluntarily recalling the Plush Rabbit toy with Pouch by Daiso because the eyes of the toy can detach and the small parts pose a choking hazard.
The toy is a plush rabbit with a stuffed head and arms, a pink zippered pouch for a body and a short loop at the back of the product that could be used for hanging. The rabbit is about 27 centimetres in length and the eyes on the rabbit head are made of rigid plastic. The toy is identified by UPC no. 494767893029.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this toy.
About 22 of the plush rabbit toys, manufactured in China, were sold at Daiso Store Canada Ltd. in Richmond, B.C. from November to December 2008.
