A least one Canadian child has been hurt by the Evenflo ExerSaucer “activity centre” after the end cap dislodged, posing a fall hazard to young children.
The child broke the collarbone, Health Canada said in a notice recalling 24,630 units of the product sold in Canada.
Evenflo has received 11 reports of the end cap coming loose, causing minor injuries. Four of the reports came from Canadian customers.
The Evenflo ExerSaucer Triple Fun Stationary Activity Center is a three-part activity centre that rocks, spins and bounces. It has three height adjustments, can fold up with a carry handle, and can swing out to become an activity table with nine attached toys.
The recalled product has the model No. 6231711C and universal product code 032884146468, or model number 6231711 and UPC 032884142675.
Evenflo is offering consumers a free repair kit.
The company can be reached at 1-800-265-0749 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET.
