The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has recalled another 18 products made in the United States because they may be contaminated with salmonella from peanuts.
The foods contain peanut products (butter/paste or peanut pieces) from Peanut Corporation of America. Peanuts from the company used in all kinds of products have prompted the recall of hundreds of items.
The latest recall includes four kinds of Botticelli chocolates, two Maxfield’s gourmet chocolates, two Garden of Life bars, eight products sold at bulk stores, including bridge, party and trail mixes, and two Oh Yeah products.
There have been no confirmed illnesses in Canada from eating the products.
