Stuffed dog's buttons pose choking hazard
- January 15, 2009 3:41 PM
- By Peter Hadzipetros
Health Canada has recalled about 288 Plush Dog toys, because the buttons may come off and could choke a young child.
The Angel Toy dogs are brown and green, about 19 centimetres high, and have two small beige buttons attached to the chest, with black plastic eyes and nose.
The product is identified as item number 20011. There are no reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians from the toy, sold in Canada from January 2003 to December 2008.
Consumers may call Angel Toy Co. Ltd. at 1-604-439-9581 for more information.
