Mood necklace pendant contains lead
- January 15, 2009 3:33 PM
- By Peter Hadzipetros
Health Canada has ordered the recall of about 86 mood necklaces with a flip-flop pendant sold in Winnipeg because the pendant contains too much lead.
There are no reports of harm, but lead is toxic if ingested by young children.
The silver bead necklaces change colour with the wearer's mood. They are identified by item number 6206 and UPC 085761062085. The brand is Toysmith.
The Explore Store in Winnipeg will provide a refund.
The necklaces were sold from July 2008 to November 2008.
