The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled about 75,000 lip gloss keychains because they have high lead levels.
Lead can be toxic for young children and cause health problems.
The lip gloss container on the keychains recalled by Markwins Beauty Products of City of Industry, Calif., say "Lip Gloss," "Brillant á lèvres," "Fantasy Makers®" and "from the creators of Wet n Wild."
No incidents have been reported.
The product was sold across the U.S. in October 2008 for about $1 US.
Consumers can call Markwins at (800) 626-8878 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. PT Monday through Friday for more information.
