Girls' denim jackets recalled for strangulation danger

About 55,000 denim jackets made in China are being recalled in the U.S. because the products' hoods are threaded with a drawstring, creating a strangulation danger, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Tuesday.

The recall affects jackets made by Ms. Bubbles with the style number BF1400 KP. The products were sold through U.S. retailers from August 2007 through December 2007 for about $10 US.

Consumers should remove the drawstrings or return the products to the retailer.
