A circular saw sold at Home Depot has been voluntarily recalled by its manufacturer.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said that One World Technologies Inc. has agreed to voluntarily recall its Ryobi corded circular saws after a spring on the saw's lower blade guard was found to be faulty.
The guard can break and causes a laceration hazard to consumers, the commission said in a press release.
The circular saws, which were made in China, have the model numbers CSB123, CSB133L, CSB142LZ and have manufacturing date codes between 0836 and 0842.
The saws were hold exclusively at Home Depot stores in October and November 2008.
Owners of the saw should stop using it and contact One World Technologies to schedule a free repair.
