Hawaii-based Aloha 808 Trading is recalling about 12,800 pieces of jewelry because they contain high levels of lead, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Thursday.
The recall affects the following styles:
- Flower ear ring.
- Three flower pendant.
- Necklace with red flower and metal leaf pendant.
- Miniature sandals.
The jewelry was sold in Honolulu from April 2008 through November 2008 for between $2 and $5 US.
No adverse health effects have been reported.
The products were made in China.
Consumers should stop using the jewelry and contact the company at (808) 923-3660 for a refund.
