Claire's Boutiques Inc. is recalling about 67,000 necklace sets because they contain high levels of lead, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Wednesday.
The recall affects the Best Friends Yin Yang necklace sets sold in U.S. stores from April 2007 through August 2008 for about $8 US.
No adverse health effects have been reported.
The necklaces were made in China.
Consumers should take the products away from children and return them to the retailer for a refund.
