Bead maze toys recalled for laceration danger

Colorado-based ImagiPLAY is recalling about 500 Bead Maze toys because they pose a laceration danger, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Thursday.

The CPSC warns pieces of the toys can detach, creating a safety hazard to young children. No associated incidents or injuries have been reported.

The recall affects the Apple Tree Bead Maze, the Cactus Tree Bead Maze and the Palm Tree Bead Maze.

The toys, which were made in the U.S., were sold from August 2008 through October 2008 for about $13 US.

Toys should be returned to the retailer involved for a refund.
