Party Blast Silly String recalled in Canada
- October 30, 2008 9:02 AM
- By Peter Hadzipetros
Health Canada on Tuesday announced a recall of Party Blast Silly String because it failed to meet labelling standards.
The recall affects 85-gram containers with the UPC # 00724328796505 sold in Michaels stores across the country from August to September 2008.
The federal department warns the cans of silly string are not properly marked with symbols and warnings for explosive products.
The product was made in China.
No associated incidents or injuries have been reported.
Consumers should stop using the products and return them to Michaels for a refund.
