Paint solvent recalled

Health Canada is recalling MF-SOL 450 brand paint solvent because it is not packaged in a child-resistant container as required by law.

Consumers are advised to stop using the solvent and store it out of reach and sight of children in a locked area.
About 100 bottles of the solvent were sold from June 2008 until August 2008 at various retail stores in Quebec and Ontario.

The solvent, distributed by MF Paints Inc. of Laval, Que., was sold in 3.78-litre clear plastic bottles and designed to clean hardwood floors, grease spots and paint brushes.
