Toy poses choking risk

Health Canada is warning consumers to be careful with Fisher-Price Learning Pots & Pans toys because they may pose a choking hazard to young children.

Missing screws in the blue toy pan, part of a set of stackable pots and pans, mean the clear plastic cover can come loose and release small balls, which may be dangerous to young children.

The warning affects about 2,400 English products with the model number G6685 and universal product code 027084 17891 3.

No injuries have been reported.

If the blue plan has six screws, it's OK, but if it's missing any, Fisher-Price will give the consumer a $25 voucher.
The toys have light and sound features that operate on AA batteries.

They were sold from October 2007 until August 2008 at Toys 'R' Us stores nationwide.

The U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission has also warned about the toy.
