Chelsea & Scott Ltd. recalls children's skirts for high lead levels
- August 12, 2008 3:31 PM
- By Peter Hadzipetros
Illinois-based Chelsea & Scott Ltd. is recalling about 600 children's skirts because they contain high levels of lead, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Tuesday.
The recall applies to Sun Smarties skirts sold through the website www.onestepahead.com from May 1 through May 9 for about $15 US each.
No associated adverse effects have been reported.
The skirts were made in China.
Caregivers should take the skirts away from children and return them to the retailer for a refund.
