Rattles withdrawn for choking danger
- July 28, 2008 8:57 AM
- By Peter Hadzipetros
Kids II Inc., is recalling about 19,000 rattles because parts may detach, creating a choking hazard to children, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Thursday.
The recall affects bee-shaped rattles with the model number 8534 and the date code PA8, sold in U.S. stores from January 2008 through June for about $2 or $3 US.
The rattles were made in China.
Caregivers should take the rattles away from children and contact the company for a replacement.
