Plush dogs recalled for choking dangers

Plush toy dogs are being recalled in Canada because they may pose a choking hazard, Health Canada said Tuesday.

The recall affects Toyhouse Brand Plush White Dog with Striped Scarf sold at Giant Tiger and Scott's Discount stores sold from December 2007 to May 2008. About 11,237 toys were sold.

Health Canada warns eyes on the products may be pulled loose.

No associated incidents or injuries have been reported.

The toys were made in China and imported by Ottawa Import & Export Ltd.

Caregivers should take the toys away from children and return them to the retailer.
