- By Peter Hadzipetros
California-based Wanda Technology Inc. is recalling about 8,600 outdoor canopies because they fail to meet flammability standards, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Thursday.
The recall affects canopies with the code number 1020-8-WT2007.
No associated incidents or injuries have been reported.
The canopies were sold in BJ's Wholesale Club stores in the U.S. from January 2008 through May 2008 for about $200 US.
The canopies were made in China.
