Oh Chute Parachute fireworks recalled for shock hazard
- July 7, 2008 10:37 AM
- By Peter Hadzipetros
Fireworks Over America is recalling about 84,250 fireworks because they pose a shock hazard to users, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Thursday.
The recall affects Oh Chute Parachute fireworks sold in U.S. stores from April 2007 through June 2008 for about $2.50 each. The CPSC warns the parachutes may become entangled in power lines, causing a shock hazard.
The company has learned of related injury.
The products were made in China.
Consumers should stop using the product and return it to the retailer for a refund.
