Innovage LLC recalls toy helicopters

- By Peter Hadzipetros
California-based Innovage LLC is recalling about 685,000 toy helicopters because their batteries may overheat and catch fire, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Thursday.
The recall affects the Sky Scrambler and the Sharper Image helicopters sold in U.S. stores and through online retailers from June 2007 through May 2008 for about $20 US.
The toys were made in China.
The company has learned of two helicopters catching fire, including one burn injury.
Consumers should stop using the helicopters and return them to the company for a refund.
