Ice Cream hair product recalled from marketplace

Health Canada is warning consumers Thermal Protector Ice Cream hair products are being recalled because they don't provide users with adequate safety information.

The federal agency said Monday the recall applies to 150 ml cans with the UPC code 8033219163602. The products are not marked with hazard symbols and information on the risk of flammability or explosion, the federal agency said.

Consumers should dispose of the product, which was imported by Montreal-based LALCO Laboratory.

The aerosol product was sold in Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix stores.
