Craft puppet recalled for choking danger

- By Peter Hadzipetros
Markham-based distributor Toy Galaxy is recalling 624 craft puppets sold in Canada because parts might detach, creating a choking hazard, Health Canada said Tuesday.
The recall affects the Craft Fun Funny Puppet with Sound from Toy Galaxy with the UPC code 626881386851 sold in dollar stores across Canada from December 2007 to June 2008.
Health Canada has not learned of any associated incidents or injuries.
Caregivers should take the puppets away from children and return them for a refund.
The toys were made in China.
