- July 9, 2008 11:14 AM
- By Peter Hadzipetros
Canada's food watchdog is warning consumers with milk allergies not to consume Coboss brand No Sugar Added Dark Chocolate.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said Tuesday the products contain milk not listed on the ingredient label.
The chocolate bars, which were made in the U.S., were sold in 40-g packages with the UPC code 6 92315 00012 9. They were sold across the country.
No associated illnesses have been reported in Canada.
The Kitchener-based importer Coboss Canada Inc. is recalling the products from the marketplace.
Consumers with questions can call the CFIA at 1-800-442-2342.
