Provo Craft & Novelty recalls Candlsense Warmers

Provo Craft & Novelty is recalling candle warmers in Ontario and New Brunswick because they pose a fire hazard, the Electrical Safety Authority said Friday.
The ESA said a heating element in the warmer may come loose and melt its plastic casing, which may ignite. The company has learned of 11 associated incidents, involving two fires and nine reports of property damage.
The recall affects Candlsense warmers with product codes ranging from YD0629 through YD0652 and YD0701 and YD0708.
The candles were sold by Wal-Mart and Cottage Industry Suppliers from September 2006 through September 2007.
The candles were manufactured in China.
Consumers should contact the company for a voucher.
