Nordstrom recalls sandals for choking danger
- June 25, 2008 12:26 PM
- By Tara Kimura
Seattle-based retailer Nordstrom Inc. is recalling about 1,500 pairs of sandals for girls because they pose a choking hazard to children, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Tuesday.
The CPSC warned flower decorations on the sandals may come loose. No associated incidents have been reported.
The recall includes the Cadence-Lea and Trio-Lea sandals sold in Nordstrom stores from March 2008 through May 2008 for about $30 US.
The sandals were made in China.
Caregivers should take the sandals away from children and return them to the retailer for a refund.
