- By Tara Kimura
Dollar Tree is recalling about 470,000 miniature glue guns sold in the U.S. because they may short circuit, creating a fire hazard, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Tuesday.
The company has learned of four related incidents. No injuries were reported.
The recall affects the Crafters Square Hot Melt Mini Glue Gun with the product number 939701 sold in U.S. stores from December 2007 through March 2008 for about $1 US.
The glue guns were made in China.
Consumers should stop using the glue guns and return them for a refund.
