Crate and Barrel is recalling about 5,100 shag rugs because they don't meet flammability standards, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Tuesday.
The recall affects the Remy shag rugs with the following SKU numbers:
- 0303-550.
- 0304-301.
- 0245-860.
- 0301-868.
- 0303-224.
- 0302-295.
- 0245-852.
- 0245-801.
- 481750.
The rugs were sold in Crate and Barrel stores and through its website and catalogue from January 2007 to April 2008 for between $50 and $300 US.
The rugs were made in India.
Consumers should stop using the rugs and contact the company to arrange for pickup of their rug and a refund.
