BRP U.S. Inc. is recalling about 430 Ski-Doo snowmobiles because the fuel hoses may pierce, creating a fire danger, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Tuesday.
The recall affects the 2007 and 2008 Expedition TUV V800, and 2007 and 2008 Skandic SWT V-800 models.
The company has learned of two reports of fuel leakage and five reports of hose wear.
The snowmobiles, made in Finland, were sold in the U.S. from March 2006 through May 2008 for about $10,000 US each.
Consumers should contact their dealer for a free repair.
