Kansas-based Backyard Leisure Holdings Inc. is recalling about 11,000 swing sets because glider units on the sets may break, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Wednesday.
The recall affects Adventure Play Sets and Create N Adventure wooden play sets sold by U.S. stores and online retailers from January 2008 through May 2008 for between $400 and $1,500 US.
The company has learned of 114 glider hangers breaking, including three reports of minor injuries.
The swing sets were made in China.
Consumers should remove the gliders from the swing sets and contact the company for repair information.
