- By Peter Hadzipetros
Arkansas-based Umarex USA Inc. is recalling about 7,250 air rifles because they may accidentally discharge, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Wednesday.
The company has learned of one associated injury, the CPSC said.
The recall affects RWS 5G Magnum Air Pistols with the serial numbers 03316930 through 03344312.
The products were sold in U.S. stores from July 2006 through February 2008 for about $250 US.
The air pistols were manufactured in Germany.
Consumers should stop using the air pistols and contact the company for a free repair.
