Floppy Friends Horse Toys recalled for high lead levels
- May 23, 2008 11:52 AM
- By Tara Kimura
Washington-based Toy Investments Inc. is withdrawing about 300 Floppy Friends Horse Toys because they contain high levels of lead, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Thursday.
The toys were sold in U.S. stores from February 2008 through April 2008 for about $4 US.
The toys were manufactured in China.
No adverse health effects have been reported.
Caregivers should take the affected toys away from children and return them to the retailer for a refund.
