Wal-Mart recalls candle holders for safety hazards

- By Peter Hadzipetros
Arkansas-based Wal-Mart is recalling about 61,000 candle holders in the U.S. because the products may tip over or break, creating fire and laceration hazards to users, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Thursday.
No related injuries have been reported.
The recall affects the Holiday Times candle holders sold in the Santa, snowman, and goblet shapes and sold from September 2007 through February 2008 for between $13 and $17 US.
The candle holders were manufactured in China.
Consumers should stop using the products and return them to the retailer for a refund.
