BodyPro cleaner recalled from marketplace
- April 9, 2008 3:33 PM
- By Peter Hadzipetros
Health Canada on Wednesday issued an advisory, warning consumers BodyPro vinyl leather and fabric cleaner is being recalled from the marketplace because it failed to meet child safety standards.
The federal agency said the cleaner is corrosive and accordingly must be sold in a child safe bottle. Until the product's packaging has been changed, it may only be sold for professional use and must be kept behind the counter.
Montreal-based NAPA distributed about 2,310 bottles across the country.
Caregivers are advised to keep the cleaner out of children's reach.
