Board books recalled for choking hazard

- By Peter Hadzipetros
Tennessee-based Dalmatian Pres LLC is pulling about 17,000 board books because parts may detach, presenting a choking hazard to children, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Tuesday.
The recall affects the Little Builder board book sets with toys with the ISBN number 1-49373-215-9. The books were sold in U.S. stores and through online retailers from August 2007 through February 2008 for about $9 US.
The books were manufactured in China.
No associated injuries or incidents have been reported to the company.
Caregivers should take the toys away from children and return them to the retailer.
