Toy wagons recalled due to violation of lead paint standard

Parents are being warned to stop their children from using metal toy wagons coated with paint that contains excessive levels of lead.

About 15,000 of the wagons, imported by Tricam Industries Inc., of Eden Prairie, Minn., were sold at Tractor Supply Company stores across the United States from September 2002 through November 2007 for about $30. The company is voluntarily recalling the wagons and advising consumers to contact it for refunds.

The recall involves the red metal wagon model MH1250. The wagon has a red steel bucket, a black handle, a black steel axle support, and black tires.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says consumers should stop using the wagon immediately.
