Stamina Products Inc. is recalling about 2,000 Inversion Therapy Tables because they pose a fall danger to users, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Wednesday.
The CPSC said a weld in the table may fail when the table is inverted. The company has learned of three weld failures. No injuries were reported.
The recall applies to the following tables:
- Inversion Therapy Table, model number 55-1531, serial numbers 05NOV000001 through 05NOV000414 and
05DEC000415 through 05DEC000828.
- Pro Inversion System, model number 55-1536, 551536A and 551536B, serial numbers 05SEP000001 through 05SEP000528,
06NOV000001 through 06NOV000528, and 07SEP000001 through 07SEP000528.
The tables, manufactured in China, were sold in U.S. stores and through online retailers from October 2005 through October 2007 for between $160 and $300 US each.
Consumers should stop using the tables and contact Stamina Products for a replacement or refund.
