Dollar Tree is recalling about 253,000 Crafters Square mini glue guns because they may short circuit and catch fire, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Tuesday.
The company has learned of seven associated incidents, including two reports of electrical shock and burns.
The recall applies to the Crafters Square guns with the product numbers 818261-72 or 818261-75 sold in U.S. discount stores from February 2007 through August 2007 for about $1 US. The guns were manufactured in China.
Consumers should stop using the guns and return them to the store for a refund.
